Where can I find college acceptance rates?
Application rates were up in 2013 at dozens of U.S. colleges. At the University of Chicago, for example, 30,369 students applied in 2013, up from 21,761 in 2011. The university accepted 2,676 students in 2013, for an admission rate of 8.81 percent, compared with the 3,538 students it accepted in 2011, for an admission rate of 16.26 percent. By comparison, Harvard University had a 2013 acceptance rate of 5.79 percent.
